The skirt is designed to be worn as a top layer, over dresses, pants other skirts or how ever you like. It is open on one side, has no pockets and is connected by a large plastic buckle which can be use for further adjustment of the fit. The fabric is organic cotton canvas with water repellent coating.
This black fabric is strong and has a high resistance against sunlight. The water-repellent properties make the difference. Normally, water-repellency is obtained by finishing a fabric with fluorine polymers. These are very effective but also bear risks for the environment. However, the Ruco Dry-Eco finish that was used on this fabric is eco-friendly and totally compliant to the GOTS standard.
The fabric is washable up to 10 times at maximum 30°C and will retain its hydrophobic quality after it is ironed or tumble dried. After washing it 10 times the fabric will gradually loose its water repellency.
The water repellent finish can resist abrasion and wearing, though it will dissolve by using softeners or dry cleaning chemicals.

one size fits between sizes XS – XXL only the amount folds on the belt changes so in size XXL there are none.
